What Is a Home Care Package?
A Home Care Package (HCP) is a government-subsidised program delivered through My Aged Care, aimed at supporting older Australians to remain at home longer with the right services in place. There are four levels of packages available, based on the amount of care you require – from basic assistance to more complex support.

What is a Home Care Package?
A Home Care Package is a government-funded program that provides support services to help older Australians live independently in their own homes. The services are tailored to your personal needs and preferences, and can include help with daily tasks, personal care, transport, and more.
Who is eligible for a Home Care Package?
Home Care Packages are available to older Australians who require coordinated services to continue living at home. Eligibility is determined through an assessment by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) or ACAS in Victoria via My Aged Care.
What services can I receive under a Home Care Package?
Personal care (showering, grooming, dressing), Housekeeping and meal preparation, Transport to medical appointments or social outings, Social support and companionship, Allied health services, Respite care and support for carers
How much will I have to pay?
At GNA Services, we offer low and transparent fees, ensuring you get the most value from your package. Depending on your circumstances, you may be asked to contribute an income-tested care fee, but many clients are not required to pay this.
